Channel 5 is organizing a charity car wash at Dempsey Hill on Saturday, 24 October 2009 from 12 noon to 6pm in support of MediaCorp’s adopted charities, HCA Hospice Care and Rainbow Centre Yishun Park School, as well as Class 95FM’s adopted charity, Operation Smile.

Join the Singapore Idol contestants, Class 95FM DJs, FHM girls and the cast of First Class, Fighting Spiders and Polo Boys for a day of fun and entertainment! Delight your taste buds at the Celebrate the World Carnival at Dempsey Hill while the celebrities wash your car.

Hosted by Jean Danker and Carol Smith, Channel 5’s Charity Car Wash will see two groups of celebrities washing cars simultaneously in a friendly competition to see who can garner the most donations!

12pm – 2pm: Cast of First Class (Jade Seah, Siva, and the party of 5 - Zenn Long, Scott

4pm – 6pm: Singapore Idol (The top 8 Singapore Idols) Vs Singapore Idol Alumni (Paul
Twohill, Joakim Gomez, Gayle Nerva, Jasmine Tye, Nurul, Levin, Woon and Norman)

There are 50 goodie bags up for grabs on a first-come-first-serve basis, food, beer and wine specials, and activities for children like face painting, free popcorn and candy floss! On top of that, look out for the auction of Chronotech watches, artwork from Red Sea Gallery and Gucci sunglasses!
